This release delivers faster onboarding, clearer import progress, saved and shareable Explorer filters, and more reliable performance under load—plus improvements to release stability. Below are the most important changes since v0.0.36 (not every internal tweak, just the ones we think deliver the most value).

🚀 Faster, clearer onboarding and imports

  • Choose your onboarding path: New customers can start by importing data via CSV or by instrumenting their app, with clearer guidance for SDK and OTLP setups — Get to a working setup faster with fewer wrong turns.
  • Resume onboarding without starting over: If you began an import, onboarding can pick up from your saved draft — Pause and continue later without losing progress.
  • More accurate import progress and outcomes: Upload and processing progress is reported more accurately, import history reflects message counts better, and completion screens summarize imported/failed/duplicate messages with next steps — Know what’s happening and what to do next during and after imports.
  • Snappier field mapping and more reliable auto-mapping: Field mapping is more responsive on large files and auto-mapping behaves more consistently after upload — Spend less time waiting or reworking mappings on big datasets.

📚 Easier knowledge collection during setup

  • Automatic documentation discovery: Brixo can scan your domain to find documentation sources, with live progress, clearer results, and options to retry or switch domains — Connect knowledge sources faster and recover easily when a scan doesn’t work as expected.
  • File uploads with live extraction status: Upload documentation files (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, text) and track extraction in real time — Bring docs into Brixo with confidence that they were processed successfully.

🔎 Explorer saved filters and team sharing

  • Save and reuse Explorer filters: Save filter combinations and reopen them in one click; update, rename, or delete saved filters; Explorer remembers your selected saved filter when you return — Jump back into the exact views you rely on, without redoing work.
  • Share filters across the team: Share filters with your team or keep them private, with shared and personal filters clearly separated — Align on consistent views across the org with less duplication.

🔐 Clearer access control for Magic Importer

  • Admin-only Magic Importer access: Magic Importer is now available only to organization admins/owners; non-admin entry points are hidden and direct access is blocked — Reduce confusion and keep high-impact import actions in the right hands.

🛡️ Reliability, scaling, and release stability

  • More resilient during traffic spikes: Improved handling of high load and simultaneous updates, with better protection for critical services — Core functionality stays available more consistently during busy periods.
  • More predictable scaling and steadier performance: Capacity adjusts more predictably as demand changes and workloads are distributed more evenly to reduce hotspots — Keep response times steadier and reduce peak-time slowdowns.
  • Safer, more consistent rollouts: Fixed deployment blockers that could cause behind-the-scenes update failures — Lower the risk of customer-facing disruption during releases.

🧩 Small UX fixes that reduce friction

  • Cleaner navigation around saved filters: Fixed a sidebar layering issue so navigation no longer interferes with the Saved Filters panel — Explorer interactions are less frustrating and more predictable.
  • Clearer confirmations for filter actions: Added on-screen confirmations when filter changes succeed or fail — Immediately know whether an action worked without guessing.
Thanks for using Brixo! We hope these updates make your day-to-day workflows smoother, faster, and more intuitive.
